3.02 crore IRCTC fake accounts blocked.. Center's statement
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that 3.02 crore IRCTC fake accounts have been deactivated since January 2025. He said that fake accounts have been blocked with anti-bot tools like AKAMAI. He said in the Lok Sabha that changes are being made in the reservation system to make general and tatkal tickets available to the common man. They say that the Aadhaar linked OTP system is being made available in tatkal bookings in phases.
