The statements being issued by the US, Israel, and Iran regarding the war are creating confusion. Initially, Trump announced that talks with Iran had been successful and that attacks would be halted for five days. However, Iran stated that it had not held any consultations whatsoever with the US. Consequently, Trump reiterated that discussions had taken place just last night and that a deal could potentially be reached within five days. Amidst this back-and-forth, Israel’s announcement that it had launched attacks on Tehran further intensified the confusion.
