Scientists at CSIR-CIMFR (Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research) have unveiled 'Mobile Liquid Tree' technology designed to reduce the hazardous air pollution engulfing cities. Technically, this is referred to as a ‘Smart Algal Liquid Tree’ (SALT). While liquid trees of this type have existed previously, they were typically stationary installations; these, however, are mobile units—meaning they can be moved to wherever pollution levels are high.
