Action Taken Over Low Pass Rates in Intermediate Exams
The Board of Intermediate Education has initiated action against faculty members at government junior colleges that recorded extremely low pass rates in the recent Intermediate examination results. The Board stated that show-cause notices are being issued to the junior lecturers responsible for the respective subjects. It also issued orders to completely terminate the services of guest faculty members at these institutions. On Tuesday, P. Ranjit Basha, Secretary of the Intermediate Board, conducted a review meeting with the principals of 50 government colleges from across the state at the Board's office.
