Amaravati ORR across 5 districts
Andhra Pradesh: Steps are being taken rapidly for the construction of the Amaravati Outer Ring Road. The Central Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has issued a notification for land acquisition. This construction will be a 6-lane road spanning 189 km. Guntur, Palnadu, NTR, Krishna, and Eluru districts will fall under its purview. Land acquisition will take place in 121 villages across 23 mandals. A total of 5789 acres of land will be acquired. A 21-day period has been given for objections.
