Another TMC MP, Koel Mallick, Resigns
Kolkata: Trinamool Congress Chairperson Mamata Banerjee has suffered another setback. Actress and TMC MP Koel Mallick has resigned from her Rajya Sabha membership. Following her resignation, she met with Union Minister Bhupender Yadav in New Delhi. There is speculation that she will join the BJP. It is noteworthy that Koel resigned just four months after being elected to the Rajya Sabha. With this latest resignation, the number of TMC MPs who have resigned from the Rajya Sabha has reached four, and the party's strength in the Upper House has dropped from 13 to 9.
