‘Apply as soon as possible’
The US Embassy in India has urged applicants to apply for H-1B and H-4 visas as soon as possible. It stated that processing may take longer due to tightened online surveillance. The US embassies and consulates are accepting visa applications as usual, it added. Thousands of Indians who returned from America are stuck here due to the new regulations, referred to as vetting.
