Approve the 'Polavaram-Banakacherla' Link Project
Amaravati: The State Government is set to request the Centre to grant its approval for the 'Polavaram-Banakacherla' (Nallamalasagar) river-linking scheme, following the preliminary acceptance of its Pre-Feasibility Report (PFR) by the Central Water Commission (CWC). Additionally, CM Chandrababu is set to request Union Minister for Jal Shakti, C.R. Patil, to constitute a tribunal to resolve the issues currently being faced with neighboring states regarding the utilization of Godavari river waters.
