Attack planned to provoke India: Former Bangladesh Minister
Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury, who served as the Education Minister in the Hasina government, alleged that the attack on the Indian Deputy High Commissioner's residence in Bangladesh was planned. He criticized Yunus, who is leading the interim government with the intention of postponing the elections, for instigating violence in the country. He said that they are trying to suppress lower-level political workers. He also alleged that provoking India was one of the intentions behind the attacks.
