Ban on social media apps lifted in Nepal
The Nepal government has lifted the ban on social media apps. This was officially announced by the country's Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung. It is known that the protests by the youth there against the ban on social media apps and government corruption turned violent. 19 people were killed and more than 250 were injured in police firing. With this, the government withdrew its decision.
