Hyderabad: Several film personalities and lawyers from Delhi and Mumbai have strongly condemned the police lathi-charge against students who were protesting—under the banner of the 'Cockroach Janata Party' (CJP)—over the NEET question paper leak issue. Film personalities such as Kamal Haasan, Salman Khan, Madhavan, Dulquer Salmaan, Imtiaz Ali, Alia Bhatt, Aditi Rao Hydari, Kareena Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Pooja Bhatt, and singer Arijit Singh have extended their support to the students via social media.
