Bullish enthusiasm!
Mumbai: Benchmark Indian stock indices recorded significant gains on Thursday. The rally was driven by robust buying from investors in the banking, FMCG, and IT sectors, following the US Federal Reserve's decision to keep benchmark interest rates unchanged and a slight decline in oil prices. Consequently, the Sensex rose by 905.01 points (1.24 percent) to reach 74,151.04—its highest level in over a week—while the Nifty climbed 237.90 points (1.05 percent) to close at 22,936.75.
