Bus Carrying 40 Passengers Plunges into River
Near the Daulatdia terminal in Bangladesh, a bus carrying 40 passengers lost control while attempting to board a ferry and plunged into the Padma River. It appears that the driver lost control of the steering wheel after the bus collided with the ferry. While some passengers managed to swim to safety, many remain missing. Divers and rescue teams have been deployed to the scene to conduct search operations. Special teams from Dhaka have also arrived at the accident site.
