Amaravati: PCC President Sharmila alleged that backtracking on promises—specifically regarding the Women's Reservation Bill—is a habit for Prime Minister Modi. In a statement issued on Sunday, she asserted that merely offering apologies to women is insufficient; instead, the Women's Reservation Bill must be specifically introduced in Parliament and passed. She further declared that if the Women's Reservation Bill is presented in Parliament—without being conflated with other issues such as delimitation—they would extend their unconditional support for its passage.
