Congress has forgotten Patel's vision: Modi
PM Modi said that Kashmir was occupied due to Congress's weak policies. Speaking on Gujarat Ekta Diwas, he said, "Kashmir and the country are in turmoil due to Pakistan's occupation." Patel wanted to merge all of Kashmir into India. Nehru did not respect his wishes and gave Kashmir a separate constitution and flag. Congress forgot Patel's vision. They tried to ban the Vande Mataram song, he alleged.
