Crop loans up to ₹1 lakh for tenant farmers
Andhra Pradesh: The government has given good news to tenant farmers. It has directed the DCCBs (District Cooperative Central Banks) to provide loans to them for cultivating crops. Farmers must have PACS membership, reside within its jurisdiction, and possess a tenancy agreement. They must own at least one acre of land. Loans up to ₹1 lakh will be provided. Farmers can obtain loans individually or by forming a group. The loan, along with interest, must be repaid within a year. However, those cultivating on DKT and assigned lands will not be eligible for these loans.
