Different Brands, Same Owner
We assume there is competition between different brands in the market. But sometimes, our money goes into the pocket of the same company. This is called a multi-branding strategy. For example, Apsara and Nataraj pencils are from the same company. Lux and Lifebuoy soaps also belong to Hindustan Unilever. Audi and Skoda cars are from the Volkswagen Group. Companies use this strategy to attract every type of customer.
