Duleep Trophy: Rajat Patidar Named Central Zone Captain
Star batter Rajat Patidar has been appointed captain of the Central Zone team, the defending champions of the Duleep Trophy. Rinku Singh will serve as the vice-captain. The tournament is scheduled to begin on August 23 at the Centre of Excellence grounds in Bengaluru. The Central Zone team will enter the competition directly in the semi-finals, starting on August 30, where they will face the winner of the match between East Zone and North East Zone.
