EPFO Good News.. Deposit of cash in their accounts
The Center has taken a key decision on unclaimed deposits in EPFO. It will give money to subscribers in accounts that have not been active for several years. There are ₹10,903 crore in 31.86 lakh inactive accounts. In the first phase, the amount will be deposited as a pilot project in 7 lakh accounts with a balance of less than ₹1000. Later, it will be refunded in the remaining accounts. Accounts that have not had any transactions for three years are considered inactive.
