First meeting of Panchayat governing bodies on the 22nd
Telangana: The first meeting of the new governing bodies in the Panchayats will be held on the 22nd. The Panchayat Raj department has issued a gazette notification to this effect. First, officials will administer the oath of office to the newly elected Sarpanches and ward members at the Panchayat offices. Following this, the governing bodies will meet and discuss matters. Meanwhile, officials are conducting the election for the Deputy Sarpanch post, which was stalled in 90 Panchayats across 18 districts, today as per the Election Commission's orders.
