Free Genetic Testing for Cancer Patients
Guntur: Advanced genetic testing facilities for cancer patients have become available in the state for the first time. Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav inaugurated a newly established Integrated Genomic Solutions Centre—a comprehensive cancer genetic testing facility—at the Natco Cancer Centre within the Guntur Government General Hospital on Tuesday. He inspected the Next-Generation Genetic Sequencing testing machine, the first of its kind to be installed in the government medical sector.
