Ganesh Immersions Celebrate Ganapathi in Andhra Pradesh
Ganesh immersions were held in a grand manner across the state. Special prayers were held in many places on Sunday to bid farewell to Lord Ganesha, who had been worshipped for five days. The city became bustling with the Vinayaka immersions in Vijayawada. Friends, relatives and family members participated and happily bid farewell to Vinayaka. The main areas and riverbanks of the city were filled with the chanting of Ganesha's name. As hundreds of idols came for immersion, the banks of the Krishna River became bustling with devotees.
