'GSLV-F17' Launch
Sullurpeta: The launch of the GSLV-F17 rocket is scheduled for next month from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC-SHAR), India's spaceport. This rocket will carry the EOS-05 Earth Observation Satellite—developed using entirely indigenous technology—into space. A Mission Readiness Review (MRR) meeting regarding the launch is set to take place at SHAR on Tuesday. SHAR Director Muthu Cheliyan and several scientists will participate in the meeting to discuss the launch.
