GST reforms.. Nirmala expresses gratitude
Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman thanked all the states for supporting the GST reforms. She has written letters to the finance ministers of the respective states to this effect. Although many expressed different opinions, she said that finally the people have been relieved with the decisions of the GST Council. She said that along with the states, the center will lose revenue with the latest reduction, and if the rates are reduced, the purchasing power of the people will increase and their income will be compensated.
