Historic Decision to Provide 34% Reservation for BCs
Amaravati: Ministers hailed the coalition government's historic decision to provide 34% reservation for Backward Classes (BCs) in rural local bodies and 33.33% in urban local bodies. They spoke during the discussion on this bill in the Legislative Assembly on Tuesday, amidst the monsoon session. Speaking first, Minister Savitha thanked CM Chandrababu, Deputy CM Pawan, and Minister Lokesh for fulfilling the promise made to the BC community prior to the elections.
