"I Don't Like the 'Impact Player' Rule": Axar Patel
Delhi Capitals captain Axar Patel revealed that he is not fond of the 'Impact Player' rule in the IPL. He stated that the rule limits the role of all-rounders. However, during a press conference, he acknowledged that the regulations must be adhered to. "Before this rule was introduced, all-rounders were fielded for their contributions in both batting and bowling. Now, because teams can substitute in a specialist batter or bowler depending on the situation, the necessity for all-rounders is diminishing," he opined.
