IBM gives green signal to quantum computer
Andhra Pradesh: The government has given the green signal for the establishment of an IBM quantum computer at the Amaravati Quantum Computing Center. Orders have been issued to set up a 133-qubit, 5K gates quantum computer in 2,000 square feet. The government has signed an agreement with IBM to pay a rent of Rs. 30 per square foot. IBM will allocate 365 hours of free computing time per year to the state government for four years.
