Idols That Should Not Be Kept in the Pooja Room
Idols of Goddess Lakshmi, Saraswati, and Lord Ganesha in a standing posture, as well as idols depicting fierce forms of deities, should not be kept in the pooja room. It is said that keeping such idols prevents wealth from accumulating. Vastu experts also say that tall idols are inauspicious. They suggest that since a house cannot bear the powerful energy of large idols, they should be limited to temples. Even photographs of deceased persons should not be placed in the prayer room. Doing so could lead to incurring divine wrath and the risk of losing peace and wealth.
