Imran from jail: Asim Munir's policies are destructive for Pakistan
Imran Khan's wife news: Pakistan's accountability court sentenced Pakistan's former prime minister and his wife Bushra Bibi to 1-7 years in prison on Saturday in a corruption case. Khan and Bibi received government benefits from the Saudi government in 2021, which is a fraud. Special court judge Shahrukh Arjun pronounced the verdict in the Rawalpindi High Court in this case. Khan and Bushra were sentenced to seven years in prison under various sections of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) under Section 409 (criminal intimidation and 10-1 thousand) of the Prevention of Corruption Act. A fine of one crore rupees will also be imposed on those who do not appear in court.
Case registered against Imran Khan's supporters
The Pakistan Police on Wednesday registered a case against Prime Minister Imran Khan's supporters and supporters for protesting outside Adiala Jail. When Khan arrived at the jail, his relatives and lawyers denied the jail issue, while activists of Khan's party and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf said on Tuesday. Police said that the police have arrested Khan for his alleged involvement in the Anti-Terrorism Act against Aleema Khan and Noreen Niazi's Saath-Saath Party supporters in Rawalpindi.
