India Increases Nuclear Warheads to 180
India has been steadily increasing its nuclear arsenal over the past year and is continuing to develop its nuclear delivery systems. It currently has 172 nuclear weapons, and this year the number is expected to reach 180, according to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI). The report, which lists the number of nuclear weapons deployed by countries around the world and the number of nuclear weapons in their arsenals, was released on Monday. On the other hand, Pakistan has also decided to increase its nuclear warheads to 170 this year, SIPRI said.
