India makes new history in archery
Indian archers created history at the Archery Championship being held in South Korea. They became world champions for the first time in the compound men's team category. In the final, the Indian team of Rishabh, Pratamesh and Aman defeated the French pair by a margin of 235-233. With this, the country won its first gold medal. On the other hand, the Jyothi Surekha pair lost in the compound mixed final and settled for silver.
