Investigation in SC/ST Cases Within 30 Days
Amaravati: The High Court has clarified that the police bear the responsibility of completing investigations into SC/ST cases within 30 days. The Court made these observations while hearing a petition filed by Venkateswara Rao, who alleged that his son, Perupogu Kranthi Kumar, committed suicide due to harassment by Nagaraju, the then-CI of Krishnalanka (Vijayawada), and sought a CBI inquiry into the matter.
