Kapass Kisan App Made Mandatory for Cotton Sales in AP
Amaravati: Cotton Corporation of India has brought new guidelines for cotton procurement this year. It has made it mandatory to register farmers' details in the app 'Kapsaas Kisan' and book slots. CCI has also introduced new policies such as opening ginning mills based on L1, 2 and 3 standards. Farmers and ginning mill owners are expressing concern that due to these regulations, farmers may not be able to sell their cotton at the nearest purchasing center.
