Kodandaram and Azharuddin Appointed as MLCs
Hyderabad: The State Government issued a Gazette notification on Sunday, appointing Kodandaram and Azharuddin—who were nominated by Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla based on the government's recommendation—as Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs). The notification stated that they would serve as MLCs for a period of six years, effective from Sunday. However, a case regarding the nominations for MLC seats under the Governor's quota is currently pending adjudication in the Supreme Court.
