Major Incentives for BPCL
The State Government has announced substantial incentives for Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL)—a Central Public Sector Undertaking—which is set to establish a petrochemical complex and a Greenfield oil refinery involving massive investments near the Ramayapatnam Port in Nellore district. The State Government on Wednesday issued amended orders to transfer 6,042 acres of land—replacing the 6,000 acres previously allocated—for this massive project, which is set to be established with an annual capacity of 9 to 12 million metric tonnes.
