Mandatory Kidney Tests!
Hyderabad: The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Health and Family Welfare has recommended that the Central Government implement a national policy requiring everyone aged 20 and above to undergo mandatory kidney function tests every six months. The committee expressed concern over the rising incidence of kidney problems among the youth. It noted that many individuals remain unaware of the extent of damage to their kidneys and suggested that this dangerous situation be curbed at an early stage.
