Minister makes key announcement on cinema ticket price hike
Andhra Pradesh: Minister Kandula Durgesh said that a new policy will soon be introduced regarding the increase in cinema ticket prices in the state. He spoke after a meeting with Tollywood representatives. "Currently, we are increasing ticket prices based on the film's budget. From now on, we are considering a system where ticket prices will be increased uniformly for all categories. The decision will be made in a way that benefits the industry without burdening the common man," he stated.
