No one asked me to resign from my MP post: Yusuf Pathan
Yusuf Pathan responded on Saturday to media reports suggesting he had been asked to resign from his MP seat to make way for TMC chief Mamata Banerjee. He clarified that neither Mamata Banerjee nor any other party leader had asked him to step down from his parliamentary seat. He expressed dissatisfaction with the media coverage regarding this matter. It is worth noting that recent media reports had suggested party chief Mamata Banerjee was considering running for the Lok Sabha.
