Rs. 10,000 per acre assistance: Tummala
Telangana: Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao has assured that he will support the farmers whose crops have been damaged due to the cyclone. He said that Rs. 10,000 per acre will be provided. He inspected the flood situation in Khammam. He said that a preliminary assessment has been made that there has been crop damage in 4.5 lakh acres. He said that he will also support those who have lost livestock and houses. He said that the officials will assess the crop damage at the field level from tomorrow.
