ISRO has successfully completed the crucial 'Drogue Parachute' tests for the Gaganyaan mission. These tests were conducted in Chandigarh on the 18th and 19th of this month. These parachutes help in reducing the speed of the crew module and keeping it stable during its return from space to Earth. In the test trials, they effectively withstood high air pressure. This is another important step towards a manned space mission.
