Shanaka Heads to Rajasthan
New Delhi: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is facing a series of setbacks. The latest blow comes as Sri Lankan captain Dasun Shanaka has bid farewell to the league. It has been confirmed that the Sri Lankan all-rounder will join the IPL franchise, the Rajasthan Royals. Sources within the Rajasthan Royals organization revealed on Sunday that he is expected to join the team shortly. It is well known that legendary Sri Lankan batsman Kumar Sangakkara currently serves as the Head Coach of the Rajasthan Royals. Incidentally, although Shanaka entered the IPL mini-auction with a base price of ₹75 lakhs, he went unsold. He will now join the Rajasthan team at that very same price point.
