Sharpening Policing Efforts!
Amaravati: The government has made a key proposal to make the state's police system more efficient. It has proposed the establishment of new police commissionerates in Tirupati, Guntur, Kurnool, and Rajamahendravaram. In view of challenges such as rapid urbanization, the changing nature of crime, cyber fraud, crimes against women, traffic issues, and the drug menace, a decision has been made to bring the police systems of these areas under a unified command.
