Shreyas Iyer Named India A Captain Against Australia A
New Delhi: The selectors have taken pity on Shreyas Iyer, who was not able to make it to the Asia Cup T20 tournament. He has been named as the captain of the India 'A' team. The 15-member squad was announced on Saturday. The Australia 'A' team will tour India next week. Two unofficial four-day Test matches will be played between India 'A' and Australia 'A' teams in Lucknow from September 16 to 26. Shreyas played his last Test in February last year.
