Andhra Pradesh: It is learned that the government is going to entrust crucial responsibilities to women's self-help groups (SHGs). Information suggests that they will be given the responsibility of managing smart kitchens to ensure the more efficient implementation of the midday meal scheme. Currently, women are already completely overseeing all the work in several smart kitchens in the state. Therefore, the government is preparing to hand over more such kitchens to women's groups soon.
