Solar Power For One Lakh Homes in AP State
Visakhapatnam: Tata Power CMD Praveer Sinha said that the target is to provide rooftop solar (solar power) to one lakh houses in the state in the next two years. Speaking at a meeting held in Visakhapatnam on Monday, he said that more than 14 lakh people in AP have applied, but only 45 thousand of them have been installed. He said that if you take ‘Tata Power Rooftop Solar’, it will provide services for 25 years. He said that middle-class families can install it for just Rs. 999.
