Srikar Reddy Appointed Indian Ambassador to Qatar
The Central Government has appointed Telugu diplomat Koppula Srikar Reddy as India's Ambassador to Qatar. Hailing from the Bhuvanagiri district, he pursued his medical education at Kakatiya Medical College. A 2001-batch IFS officer, Srikar Reddy has served in various capacities, ranging from Regional Passport Officer in Hyderabad to roles at the United Nations. He played a pivotal role in historic trade agreements between India and nations in Africa and the Arab world.
