Statues of Legendary Scientists to Head into Space Aboard Vikram-1
Skyroot Aerospace, set to conduct the country's first private-sector space launch, is preparing to launch the Vikram-1 rocket under the mission name 'Mission Prarambh' (Mission Agaman). As part of this historic launch, the company plans to pay a unique tribute to three legendary scientists. Hyderabad-based Skyroot Aerospace will send miniature figures of Sir C.V. Raman, Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, and former President Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam into space aboard the Vikram-1 rocket.
