Tenure of Special Officers Extended in 86 Urban Local Bodies
Amaravati: The government has extended the tenure of Special Officers in 86 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) across the state by another six months. These include 11 municipal corporations and 75 municipalities/nagar panchayats. This extension will remain in effect for six months starting from September 18, or until an elected governing body assumes office—whichever occurs earlier. The Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department issued orders to this effect on Thursday.
