Three More Data Centers for Visakhapatnam
The trend of establishing data centers in the undivided Visakhapatnam district continues, with the government recently giving the green signal for three additional facilities. Data Center Holdings India has proposed setting up a data center with a 486-megawatt capacity at an estimated cost of ₹58,743 crore in Jagannadhapuram village, Anandapuram Mandal (Visakhapatnam Rural). These proposals have received approval from the State-Level Investment Promotion Committee, the State-Level Investment Promotion Board, and the State Cabinet.
