UAE bids farewell to OPEC
Abu Dhabi: Another key development has taken place in the turbulent West Asia. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) announced on Tuesday that it is withdrawing from the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and OPEC Plus, the oil exporting group. The decision will come into effect from May 1, the country's official media outlet 'WAM' said.
